Your Adirondack Journey Begins With DAKS 46!

We are excited to announce the return of Joel Dobson's research and documentation from his much missed adirondackjourney.com. For those of you who are familiar with Joel's work and website, you already know how much time and careful effort he put into helping hikers explore the Adirondacks.

The ADK hiking community has missed Joel's detailed High Peaks trail guides, insights, suggestions, and photo documentation of the trails and we are happy to say, it is all back!

All of the text content from Joel's site, along with the printable maps have been posted to DAKS46. We will be working in the coming months to also post all of the trail pictures and descriptions of Joel's.

Our goal is to keep the adirondackjourney dream alive. We strive to be a one stop source for everything related to the Adirondacks and the High Peaks. We will continue to add updates, new images, trail reports, and much more!

We can't do this all alone though, we need you, our fellow hikers. Please feel free to contact us and let us know what you think of the site, tell us about trail conditions on your most recent hike, share photos, or just say hi. We are looking forward to being part of your Adirondack Journey!
